Seine Liebe zur Musik entwickelte sich bereits in den späten 80er-Jahren. Schon als kleines Kind schnappte er sich die Kopfhörer seines Vaters und ließ sich zeigen, was die musikalische Welt zu bieten hat. Bis heute spielt Musik eine ausgesprochen große Rolle in seinem Leben. Privat ist sein Geschmack über zahlreiche Genres hinweg breit gefächert, was sich in der Vielfalt seiner Einflüsse widerspiegelt.

Mit Anfang zwanzig entdeckte er das Clubleben und begriff schnell, dass das Auflegen ein wunderbarer Weg ist, seine ganz persönliche Reise durch die Klänge der Nacht zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Von Vinyl zu digital und wieder zurück – alles ist möglich. Da sein musikalisches Spektrum sehr breit ist, entschied er sich für eine stilistische Trennung in zwei Künstlernamen.

DausE steht für Daniels melodische Seite. Die Auswahl seiner Tracks erfolgt emotional und intuitiv. Von orientalischem Downspeed bis hin zu Melodic Techno bespielt er – abhängig von der Stimmung der Gäste – die Tanzfläche.

P.O.A steht für die dunklere und energiereichere Seite des Techno. Peak-Time Techno, Dark Techno, Hard Techno und Schranz gehören zu seinem Repertoire. Schon vor mehr als zwanzig Jahren war dies die Seite des Techno, die ihn am meisten inspirierte. Besonders die schnellen, harten und melancholischen Klänge fanden bei ihm großen Anklang.

Ganz gleich, welches Equipment oder welche Location: Daniel weiß damit umzugehen. Ausgeprägtes technisches Know-how und eine hohe Anpassungsfähigkeit zählen zu seinen Stärken. Er bringt den Raum zum Klingen und das Publikum zum Tanzen.

His love of music began in the late 1980s. Even as a young child, he would grab his father’s headphones and discover everything the world of music had to offer. To this day, music continues to play an exceptionally important role in his life. His personal taste spans a wide range of genres, which is reflected in the diversity of his influences.

In his early twenties, he discovered club culture and quickly realised that DJing was a wonderful way to express his own personal journey through the sounds of the night. From vinyl to digital and back again – anything is possible. As his musical spectrum is so broad, he decided to separate his different styles under two distinct artist names.

DausE represents Daniel’s melodic side. His track selection is emotional and intuitive. From oriental downspeed to melodic techno, he adapts his sets to the mood of the crowd and brings the dance floor to life.

P.O.A represents the darker and more energetic side of techno. Peak-Time Techno, Dark Techno, Hard Techno and Schranz are all part of his repertoire. More than twenty years ago, this was already the side of techno that inspired him most. He was particularly drawn to its fast, hard and melancholic sounds.

Whatever the equipment or the venue, Daniel knows how to handle it. Extensive technical expertise and a high degree of adaptability are among his greatest strengths. He makes the room resonate and the crowd dance.
